Dangers of Roundup in our gardens and lawns

We were recently contacted with the following information and wanted to share for the community to be aware of the risks.

Glyphosate, the active ingredient in Roundup, is one of the most commonly used herbicides in the world. It is found to be highly toxic and can cause many short-term and long-term health effects. Not to mention it can be extremely harmful to important pollinators such as honey bees.

According to the CDC, an estimated 81% of the U.S. population has had some recent exposure to glyphosate, and the potential health effects from exposure include asthma, skin irritation, respiratory irritation, and a 41% increased risk of non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
